Steve is a graduate of Seton Hall University acquiring a degree in Business Administration. He subsequently earned a secondary degree in Accounting in 2007. He began his financial services career in 1990 as a mortgage loan officer. In 2004 Steve attained a Series 6 securities license and New Jersey Life and Health insurance licenses and joined AXA Advisors as a Registered Representative providing investment, insurance and retirement planning services.

  

As a result of his experience working in various sectors of the financial services industry, Grande Planning LLC was formed in 2008. Steve is currently enrolled in the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) curriculum.

After thirty five years of service, Steve retired from a career with the federal government initially working as an Accounting Technician. He was employed his final ten years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) assigned to the Philadelphia Division. He initially served as Auditor examining the financial content of criminal cases working closely with Special Agents, Financial Analysts , Forensic Accountants and Executive Management. As a result of his exemplary performance, he was promoted to Northeast Regional Audit Coordinator providing leadership and education to auditors located in the eight FBI divisions located in the northeastern United States.  

 

Steve concluded his FBI career as Associate Chief Security Officer. Cleared for Top Secret information and granted access to sensitive compartmented information (SCIF), he was accountable for the complex areas of physical, personnel, and information security. He directed the emergency preparedness program which incorporated continuity of operations preparation, active shooter training, occupant emergency planning , vital document protection and preservation as well as accountability for disseminating critical information via the emergency notification system. Steve inspected secure work space, performed security audits and limited background investigations and conducted personnel security interviews prior to polygraph testing. He was vice chair of the Facility Security Committee that influenced security policy for the largest federal complex in Philadelphia.
